{"id":28409,"date":"2018-01-16T06:13:36","date_gmt":"2018-01-16T06:13:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=28409"},"modified":"2018-01-16T06:13:36","modified_gmt":"2018-01-16T06:13:36","slug":"new-nestle-vacancies-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/new-nestle-vacancies-2018.html","title":{"rendered":"New Nestle Vacancies 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join the Nestl\u00e9 Ghana Factory in Tema.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At Nestl\u00e9, we are proud to produce some of Ghana\u2019s best-loved brands such as\u00a0IDEAL\u00a0\u00ae, MILO\u00ae, NIDO\u00ae, NESCAF\u00c9\u00ae, CERELAC\u00ae\u00a0etc. These Brands are cherished by households across the country.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Maintenance (Area) Engineer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>What can you expect?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reporting to the Production Manager, the successful candidate will lead the Mechanical and Electrical Team for the area and will assist the Production Manager with all engineering issues.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Other responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li>Ensuring efficient and prompt maintenance and repair of production assets in the area.<\/li>\n<li>Supervising Preventive Maintenance jobs generated by the system and recommends to the Production Manager \/ Factory Engineer any corrective measures where necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Taking prompt action in case of breakdowns.<\/li>\n<li>Conducting training to staff to improve their skills, competence and efficiency.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that staff under your control are working according to factory rules and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring the right stock levels for all relevant spare parts are maintained at all times.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that workers adhere to hygienic standards and safety regulations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Making yourself available in case of emergencies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Proactively promoting safety.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the implementation of\u00a0Quality Management Systems and Continuous Improvement projects.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Implementing hygienic maintenance principles in the plant.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Who are we looking for?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A holder of at least BSc. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A minimum of three (3) years professional experience as Head of Maintenance or similar function<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Other attributes would include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fluency in both oral and written English<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Computer literacy<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ability to work under pressure to deliver results.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Strong organizational and leadership skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>What you need to know<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>The closing date for application is\u00a0<strong>23<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0January, 2018<\/strong>.
