The role reports to the Managing Director.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities include;<\/strong><br \/>\nLead the IT function in line with best practice technology measures. Functions include Application Management, Strategic Programs, Service Management and Operations such as Billing, ERR, Data, CRM<br \/>\nManagement of relationships with other company functions and partners to deliver seamless IT services across all business needs to ensure an excellent customer experience<br \/>\nLead the business in understanding and using IT to achieve strategic goals with a particular focus on compelling propositions and best cost operations<br \/>\nDirect the information and data integrity of the company and its business units.<br \/>\nDevelop strategic plans and implement the objectives of the information technology needs of the company and ensure they in line with the needs of the company\u2019s growth and objectives.<br \/>\nApproves, coordinates and controls all projects related to selection, acquisition, development and installation of major information systems for the company.<br \/>\nAdvice on evaluation, selection, implementation and maintenance of information systems, ensuring appropriate investment in strategic and operational systems.<br \/>\nDevelop and establish operating policies and approaches for computing and information technology.<br \/>\nEvaluate overall operations of the organization with regards to computing and information technology functions and recommend enhancements.<br \/>\nPrepare enterprise objectives and budgets to facilitate the orderly and efficient capture, storage, processing, and dissemination of information.<br \/>\nOversee the development, design, and implementation of new applications and changes to existing computer systems and software packages.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Minimum 10 years experience in IT with 5 years in a senior management position.<br \/>\nKnowledge of key areas of business operation in the telecommunications industry<br \/>\nFirst degree in an IT\/ computer science or  related program<br \/>\nMsc\/MBA (project managment, finance, IT etc)<br \/>\nStrong analytical and written ability<br \/>\nExperience in strategic planning and execution.<br \/>\nSubstantial exposure to data processing, hardware platforms, enterprise software applications and outsourced systems<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Please send all CV\u2019s to cv1@platogh<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Offer valid till:\u00a017 Apr, 2011<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Chief Information Officer (CIO) shall be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the organization to ensure effective regeneration and investment in Information Technology.
