Solidaridad West Africa (SWA) is a not-for-profit organization that supports the sustainable development of farmers and production systems in West Africa. We play a catalytic role by partnering with private sector companies and other stakeholders to foster the development of socially responsible, ecologically sound, and profitable supply chains. Our activities in West Africa are focused on cocoa, gold, oil palm, cotton and other commodities.

Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title: Human Resource Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n Report to: Regional Director Profile Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n The Human Resource Manager, a business\/strategic partner will design, implement and advice on human resource programmes and policies, including but not limited to recruitment and selection, performance management, compensation\/benefits, training and development and employee relations. The incumbent shall be abreast with international human resource management that is aligned to HR functions and best practices. The Human resource professional must be competent in MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n Support, improve and implement HR policies and procedures that is aligned to the strategic organizational direction of Solidaridad; Identify training and capacity needs of the employees using appropriate tools\/systems and approaches to ensure best learning outcome. \nDuty Station: Accra<\/p>\n
\nseveral human resource specialties and provide coaching to programme managers on HR best practices.<\/p>\n
\nFacilitate the setup of appropriate management application(s) and train employees on its use for enhanced self-service.
\nManage employee HR records and ensure it is regularly updated.
\nProvide leadership in recruitment selection of new staff. Ensure that new hires and existing staff understand the organisation\u2019s culture and processes.<\/p>\n
\nCoach Managers on how to instil a sense of responsibility and commitment in the management of employees they supervise.
\nAssess employee health and wellness systems and other human resource related programmes and advice management periodically through written
\nbriefs.
\nLead the performance management systems of the organisation and ensure regular feedback;
\nManage exit process of staff to ensure smooth employee separation and conduct exit interviews in consultation with appropriate programme managers.
\nLead a consultative benefit and compensation survey periodically to ensure that the organization is competitive at all times.
\nAny other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.<\/p>\n
\nMinimum Five (5) years working experience in similar position with an International organization.
\nDemonstrated use and experience in managing staff within the context of Ghana Labour Law.
\nExcellent command of MS-Office, Google suite.
\nAbility to speak French will be an added advantage.<\/p>\n
