\nMonitoring the policies and procedures of the JV to ensure compliance with local Ghana requirements as well as the GE “Spirit and the Letter”
\nMonitoring, preparing and submitting periodic local content status reports to the local government and end customer(s)
\nAssisting the General Manager in the preparation and modification of the business plan for the Ghana JV
\nManaging the letters of invitation, permits and visas of field service engineers or partners that need to visit Ghana
\nCoordinating and dealing with the renewal of the permits, authorizations and licenses required for the JV to operate within Ghana
\nLead the development of local content strategy and execution in partnership with matrix team members
\nDevelopment of vendor base (in partnership with sourcing department) to provide value added suppliers in execution of scope for customer
\nAssisting the General Manager in the execution of the business plan for the Ghana JV”<\/p>\n
\nStrong understanding of the local Ghanaian requirements for the Oil & Gas sector
\nSignificant Project, Construction, Field Engineering, Operations and\/or Contract Management experience
\nHigh energy level – self-starter
\nMicrosoft suite proficiency
\nSense of urgency in dealing with issues and tasks
\nProven leadership skills and ability to effectively manage a matrix team \/ organization
\nAbility to anticipate events and develop adaptive strategies \/ remedies
\nStrong skills in customer relationship building, facilitation, and matrix management
\nExceptional oral and written communication skills
\nStrong interpersonal and leaderships skills
\nAbility to drive and manage change in a dynamic environment
\nQuality and cost driven
\nMust have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in the role\u2019s location<\/p>\n
\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent from an accredited university or college\/or equivalent
