Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title:\u00a0Accounts Payable Manager\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n The Tullow Ghana Limited Accounts Payable & Treasury is responsible for all aspects of Accounts Payable and Treasury management, including Vendor Payments, Customer invoicing, cash flow management & forecasting, Vendor & Customer master data maintenance, Petty cash & Corporate charge card management and limitation of forex exposure.<\/p>\n The TGL Accounts Payable & Treasury team is looking to hire an Accounts Payable Manager based in the Accra office and will be responsible for:<\/p>\n Ensuring Group standard AP processes are followed with only allowed exceptions tolerated. \nManaging cash flow of TGL such that there are always sufficient funds on hand to meet existing obligations as they fall due.
\nTaking responsibility for timely completion of all vendor and customer reconciliations as part of the monthly reconciliation process.
\nEnsuring that the bank clearing accounts are kept in a clean state with complete reconciliations details while remaining compliant with local Banking laws and regulations, including Forex regulations.
\nEnsuring that customer invoices are collected and settled in a timely manner in line with contract terms.
\nManaging and reviewing all transactions performed by the AP team.
\nAssisting where required to provide information required for internal, JV or external audits.
\nActively engaging in Group Finance projects relating to improvements to be implemented in the AP cycles
\nUndertaking certain ongoing activities such as management reporting, cash flow forecasting, corporate budgeting and account reconciliations
\nTraining, development and supervision of the Accounts Payable and Treasury team<\/p>\n
\nExtensive accounts payable experience
\nSAP AP experience
\nDemonstrable knowledge of VAT
\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills
\nMultinational financial reporting experience
\nTeam management experience<\/p>\n
