Position Title: Monitoring and Evaluation Associate (Consulting)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Reporting to: Advisory and Management Consulting Team Lead
\nLocation: Fourth Street, East Legon, Accra
\nStart Date: 12th\u00a0March, 2018<\/p>\n

JOB OVERVIEW<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Monitoring and Evaluation Associate (M&E Associate) will be providing lead and support in monitoring and evaluating all MBC Africa programs.
\nYou will ensure adequate processes are implemented, tools are used to make proper managerial decisions, and accountability at all levels. You will play a role in the promotion of key learnings for the improvement of projects and for wider leaning of the organization.
\nSuitable Candidate should be conversant with the implementation of Standard Social Impact Assessment Practices and ESG Impact Evaluation Tools which are essential to organization\u2019s mode of operations.<\/p>\n

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n

To achieve the desired results, the monitoring and evaluation associate will be expected to do the following;
\nDevelop and strengthen monitoring, inspection and evaluation procedures
\nMonitor the sustainability of project results
\nConduct capacity assessment of existing monitoring and evaluation systems as well as developing indicators for monitoring the strategy of projects
\nProvide inputs and information statistics for periodic reports to the project manager<\/p>\n

Participate in project reviews and planning workshop and assist the project manager in preparing relevant reports
\nContribute in ensuring that evaluations are designed and carried out with quality processes in line with MBC Africa\u2019s priorities and strategies, and that evaluations\u2019 findings, recommendations and reports are used to improve performance and are effectively disseminated to the intended audience.
\nProvide feedback to the project manager on strategies and activities
\nSuggest strategies to the project management team for improving the efficiency and effectiveness by identifying bottlenecks in completing project
\nactivities and developing plans to minimize or eliminate such bottlenecks.
\nEnsure achievement of effective communication among teams\/partners required in carrying out integrated planning of research, monitoring and
\nevaluation activities within Perform other duties as required.<\/p>\n

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n

Monitoring
\nDevelop project monitoring plan of the programs in line with its outputs\/ consult with team, management and partners when applicable.
\nCoordinate the collection of data (baseline) against agreed indicators for projects
\nEnsure quality of data collected by all teams handling the academy program.
\nProvide feedback to management, partners and program teams on projects\u2019 performance based on monitoring data findings.
\nEvaluation
\nAssist and Lead in designing, coordinating and conducting project evaluations (mid-term and end-line).
\nAssist and Lead in designing and conducting Post Implementation Monitoring Survey.
\nSupport team in designing and disseminating research studies by providing relevant input
\nReporting and Documentation
\nAssist and Lead team in developing quarterly, six-month and annual reports
\nDevelop and share field visit with all staff
\nUpload key reports to Dropbox for ease of access after review of the management
\nStandardize Reporting processes
\nLearning and Sharing
\nShare learning from M&E process with the wider team
\nSupport project assistants in improving learning and sharing mechanisms
\nPromote culture of two way learning in the organisation<\/p>\n

Key Skills & Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a7 The ideal candidate will be a University graduate who has completed National Service Additional requirements:
\n\u00a7 Good written and spoken English
\n\u00a7 Dedicated and hard working
\n\u00a7 Strong communication skills and team ethic.
\n\u00a7 Desire to learn and progress within the organisation
\n\u00a7 Punctual and respectful
\n\u00a7 Multitasking Ability

COMPENSATION
\nThe Organisation shall pay the Consultant based on advisory contracts executed. Consultant will invoice MBC Africa on a quarterly basis for honorary fees due.
\nConsultant is not entitled to monthly salaries but will be provided with allowances as per organisation\u2019s internal fee policies for consultants to cover some basic needs to enable him\/her execute his\/her duties comfortably.<\/p>\n
