Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title:\u00a0Quality Assurance Engineer<\/strong><\/p>\n We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality.<\/p>\n QA engineer responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts.).<\/p>\n Ultimately, you will monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.<\/p>\n If you hold an engineering background and enjoy providing end-to-end solutions to software quality problems, we\u2019d like to meet you.<\/p>\n Required Technical Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n Strong engineering background (knowledge in python is an added advantage). \nShould have experience testing web based applications.
\nAbility to review user interfaces for consistency and functionality.
\nHands on experience in creating and running automated scripts.
\nAbility to identify, isolate and track bugs.
\nAbility to record test progress, result and create requirement traceability matrix document.
\nHands on experienced in creating test plans.
\nShould be able to analyze test results and create test reports.
\nShould be able to work independently, under pressure and in teams as well.
\nHands on experience in creating test cases.
\nAttention to detail, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
\nDesired Technical Skills
\nExperience in the use of source code repositories.
\nExperience with continuous integration tools.
\nShould have a solid understanding of QA testing environment and tools.
\nExperience of having worked in an agile team.
\nFamiliar with these tools (Git, Git Lab, Jenkins, Baboon, JIRA)
\nInitiative, proactive, persistence, self-motivated, strong written and verbal communication, think outside the box, willingness to learn new technologies, work efficiently in a fast paced environment.<\/p>\n
\nCreate detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
\nDesign, develop and execute automation scripts.
\nIdentify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
\nPerform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
\nLiaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
\nMonitor debugging process results.
\nInvestigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
\nTrack quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
\nStay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.<\/p>\n
