In Ghana, the Company has a significant presence of over sixty years in the oil marketing industry and has a wide retail network and business interests in Aviation, Mines, Bitumen, MGO, Lubricants etc.<\/p>\n<p>We are inviting qualified young graduates to apply for the 2018 Young Graduate Program.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Young Graduate Trainee<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Total Petroleum Ghana Limited is seeking to develop the Ghanaian youth through training and capacity building. The Young Graduate Program targets fresh university graduates from the local universities. For the past two years, Total Petroleum Ghana Limited has successfully developed eight (8) local and five (5) foreign young graduates through this initiative and is now poised for the 2018 intake.<\/p>\n<p>This \u00a0innovative and attractive programme is an eighteen (18) months training opportunity which consists of \u00a0six (6) months local contract and twelve (12) months international experience (subject to performance) in Total affiliates, within Africa, to discover one of its three main business lines &#8211; Commercial, Finance, Technical.<\/p>\n<p>Four successful candidates will join a diverse team of professionals in delivering high quality products and services to customers and long term shareholder value.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of this period, the trainees will be evaluated for permanent employment within the Company\u00a0<strong>depending on availability of opportunity.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Candidate profile: Criteria\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are interested in candidates who have attained a minimum of 2nd Class Upper Honours\u2019 Degree from recognized Ghanaian institutions within the last year and must have completed National Service.<\/p>\n<p>Degrees must be in the following disciplines:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related disciplines<\/li>\n<li>Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Marketing or related business fields<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Candidates with additional qualifications will have an added advantage.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, candidates should have the following qualities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Intellectually curious and able to take initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal and communication and analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>Team player and leadership qualities<\/li>\n<li>Highly adaptable to different environments<\/li>\n<li>Must have a strong ethical awareness and orientation<\/li>\n<li>Must also be computer literate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Applications should be sent together with a brief motivational statement and CV to\u00a0jobs@total-ghana.com, not later than\u00a0<strong>28<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0February, 2018<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Only Shortlisted candidates will be contacted.<\/p>\n<p>Total Petroleum Ghana Limited is an equal opportunity employer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Total Petroleum Ghana Limited is part of the global Total Group, which is one of the largest major integrated oil and gas companies in the world.
