\nensuring sound financial management at the Commission.<\/p>\n
\nPlans and prepares annual programme budgets and forecasts for implementation of the national response.
\nMaintains records on accounting transactions and verifies financial
\ntransactions in line with acceptable accounting standards;
\nCompares actual transactions with budgets prepares variance analysis report;
\nMaintains budgetary control to determine availability of funds;
\nPrepares Financial Statements including Income and Expenditure
\nAccounts and Balance Sheet,Sources and uses of Funds, Reconciliation of all Cash Book and Bank Statements;
\nLiaises with External Auditors on planning and executing annual audits;
\nPrepares quarterly and year-end interim and statutory financial report;
\nLiaises with regulatory bodies \u2013 GRA, SSNIT for strict compliance with regulatory requirements
\nSupervises the Accounts Department;
\nPrepares and updates Fixed Assets Register;
\nOversees payroll administration;
\nProvides management with cash flow status
\nRequired Skills or Experience
\nDirect Entry
\nA minimum of a Masters degree and a Professional qualification in Accountancy from a recognised institution such as ACCA, ICA (Ghana), CIMA, CPA or its equivalent;
\nA minimum of five (5) years relevant post qualification experience, 3 years of which should have been in a management position.
\nAn MBA in Finance is an advantage<\/p>\n
