This position is located in Accra, Ghana, and the principal investigators have not yet been determined.<\/p>\n<p>Project Associates work closely with academic researchers and other field staff to perform a variety tasks including, but not limited to:\u00a0\u00a0designing survey questionnaires, conducting qualitative research, running pilot exercise, refining study design and surveying instruments, managing survey teams, negotiating contracts with survey firms, checking and analyzing data, cleaning data and assisting in preliminary analysis, assisting in the writing of project reports and policy memos and coordinating with local partners running the programs being evaluated.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Desired Qualifications and Experience<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in economics, social sciences, public policy, or related field<\/li>\n<li>Experience living in a developing country is a strong plus<\/li>\n<li>Excellent management and organizational skills along with strong quantitative skills<\/li>\n<li>Fluency and excellent communication skills in English<\/li>\n<li>Flexible, self-motivating, able to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and team player<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to manage high-level relationships with partner organizations<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Stata (strongly preferred) or other data analysis software is preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with randomized controlled trials preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We are looking for a commitment period of 1.5 years for this position.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If you are interested, please do two things<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Complete the\u00a0J-PAL\/IPA\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/apply.povertyactionlab.org\/apply\/login\">common application<\/a> indicating that you are interested in applying for a &#8220;Type 1&#8221; position.
