\n\u2022 Deliver solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high levels of service within budgetary requirements
\n\u2022 Coordinate and manage port\/harbour activities in discharging fertilizers from ships to prodently manage the issue of demurrage
\n\u2022 Monitor quality, quantity, delivery times and transport costs for efficiency and effectiveness
\n\u2022 Develop methods and procedures for scheduling of raw materials from suppliers to support manufacturing in achieving customer demand and minimising cost impacts to the Group
\n\u2022 Resolve problems concerning logistics systems, imports and exports or customer issues
\n\u2022 Assess and make recommendations for logistics processes and advise on cost implications and efficiency
\n\u2022 Ensure the integrity of inventory accuracy and manage stock movements with the help of direct reports
\n\u2022 Provide meaningful logistics data to the General Manager to aid customer service and cost improvements
\n\u2022 Ensure that the Group is in compliane with laws and regulations regarding transportation, including hazardous materials<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in manufacturing<\/p>\n
