This is an exciting opportunity to work on a project in Ghana.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Construction Engineer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Detailed Description<\/strong><strong>Technical\/Business Skills:-<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Experience of design, fabrication\/manufacture, construction\/installation operation and brownfield mods of FPSO topsides and turrets. Preferably having worked both for a contractor and client.Experience of compilation of construction workpack and all required Job Cards, method statements essential. Experience of interfacing with all relevant Engineering departments. Experience of performing safety screening with the HSSE departments and undertaking offshore surveys.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities:-<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Compilation of Repair Order workpacks &amp; all required Job Cards, method statements<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring all raised Workpacks are reviewed by all relevant departments adding any relevant comments prior to issuing via DCC<\/li>\n<li>Being the focal point for all communications &amp; activities for assigned projects<\/li>\n<li>Working with the customer and internal teams to ensure that requirements and scope are fully defined, documented and understood by all stakeholders in order to ensure successful, on-time delivery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements<\/strong><strong>\u00a0Competency \/ Skill Requirements:-<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to deal with contractor under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and understanding of Offshore Oil &amp; Gas Operator production, operations and constraints<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of production and project (construction) interfaces<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of oil and gas project construction work requirements and practices.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of oil and gas project safety and quality requirements and work practices<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of oil and gas facilities design and engineering<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of oil and gas production operations<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of issues and challenges with projects in various remote locations<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 20 years working on Topsides projects. Good tech understanding of topsides construction including FPSO and turrets.<\/li>\n<li>Typically HND minimum but may be substituted by relevant track record \/ experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key skills:-<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good communicator<\/li>\n<li>Goal \/ results oriented<\/li>\n<li>Organizational and coordination skills -ability to work effectively with multi-discipline teams<\/li>\n<li>Confident and effective working closely with customers<\/li>\n<li>Pragmatic<\/li>\n<li>Excellent negotiation skills<\/li>\n<li>The ability to take ownership of issues and see them through to resolution<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We are looking for an individual who is willing to take ownership and be hands-on where necessary. The role will be ideal for a person with experience in Topsides construction and workpack development, ideally including turret work.
