This is an exciting opportunity to help take Africa\u2019s leading digital F\/X company to the next level. We\u2019re looking for someone who loves problem-solving, operations, and exploring emerging markets! Your first new market will be Ghana. If you succeed, we will send you to other new markets, including but not limited to, South Africa and the UAE.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Incorporation\n<ul>\n<li>Work with local lawyers and BitPesa Legal Team to incorporate new entities across Africa as efficiently as possible<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Banking Relationships\n<ul>\n<li>Evaluate each country\u2019s banking relationships based on product features, fee structure, and level of customer support<\/li>\n<li>Establish banking relationships and open up bank accounts in each new jurisdiction<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Infrastructure Relationships\n<ul>\n<li>Evaluate each country\u2019s potential payment provider relationships based on product features, fee structure, and level of customer support<\/li>\n<li>Establish new payment provider relationships<\/li>\n<li>Negotiate and renegotiate commercial agreements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Go-to-Market Strategy\n<ul>\n<li>Execute an on-the-ground assessment of the market demand for BitPesa\u2019s services and make recommendations to the Heads of Sales and Marketing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Performance Indicators:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Number of New Incorporations<\/li>\n<li>Number of New Banking Relationships<\/li>\n<li>Number of New Infrastructure Partners<\/li>\n<li>Lowest Cost of Sales possible<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University Degree, ideally in Business and\/or Operations<\/li>\n<li>At least 5 years experience in Operations, ideally in the financial services or payments industry<\/li>\n<li>Entrepreneurial, self-driven, initiative-taker<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal, communications, and negotiation skills<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to be based in Nairobi, Lagos, or Dakar with travel around sub-Saharan Africa<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Compensation<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This role can be structured either as a consultancy or as a full-time position.
