And our heritage and values are expressed in our brand\u00a0promise \u2013 here for good.\u00a0\u00a0See our Brand and Values<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Specialist, Financial Crime and Compliance<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b>Key Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Business<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Analyse comprehensive impact of financial crime related regulatory matters on the relevants business area and its operations.<\/li>\n<li>Support relevant stakeholders to make decisions based on current and possible future policies, practices, and trends.<\/li>\n<li>Keep track of and provide advice to relevant stakeholders on the interpretation and application of regulatory expectations, laws, best practices and policies related to FCC.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Risk Management\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Understand technical aspects of systems relevant to CDD, Client Risk Assessments, Name and Transaction Screening, AML Monitoring and Case Management, as and when appropriate.<\/li>\n<li>Apply Group and FCC policies and processes (AML surveillance, client screening, risk assessment) to manage risks..<\/li>\n<li>Understand risks arising from products \/ segments \/ geographies \/ customers \/ transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Inform senior management and relevant regulators of serious regulatory breaches (or where risk tolerances have been breached) and ensure that actions are taken quickly to remediate and\/or activities are ceased.<\/li>\n<li>Help identify intelligence for typology studies and risk mitigation plans<\/li>\n<li>Learn to map risks, quantify the potential impact and escalate where necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Help advise relevant stakeholders on outcomes of AML \/ Sanctions \/ABC risks identification and assessment methodologies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Governance<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in the collation, analysis and interpretation of data in reports to supervisors and senior management, including any relevant governance\/risk committees as appropriate.<\/li>\n<li>Help design and maintain dashboards and metrics that allow FCC to dynamically monitor financial crime risk and operational performance for key FCC processes, as appropriate or as directed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Regulatory &amp; Business conduct<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group\u2019s Values and Code of Conduct.<\/li>\n<li>Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank.
