MTN\u2019s shares constitute the biggest primary listing on the JSE \u2013 Africa\u2019s largest stock exchange.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Specialist, Roaming &amp; Interconnect<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Division:\u00a0\u00a0 Network Group<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Department: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Networks Operations<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:\u00a0 Accra<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Position:\u00a0\u00a0 Specialist, Roaming &amp; Interconnect<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Level: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 MTN Level 2<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Reports to: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Manager,\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Core Network Support<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To ensure MTN\u2019s technical roaming and interconnect services are optimally setup and maintained to the highest standards to guarantee customer satisfaction.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for building the necessary processes &amp; procedures for adding prepaid and post-paid roaming partners<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for implementing all roaming partner technical details and also performing the necessary testing for all roaming services with roaming partners<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for ensuring MTN Ghana IR21 is updated with the latest technical information and disseminated appropriately to all roaming partners<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for supporting local teams &amp; provide guidance on troubleshooting of general &amp; specific roaming problems.<\/li>\n<li>Management and coordination of the activities and performance for all 3<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0party vendors delivering specific roaming services for MTN Ghana.<\/li>\n<li>Effective management of roaming and interconnect carriers to ensure high standards of service.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for building the necessary communication requirements among different departments: IN, Billing, NSS, Planning &amp; IS teams.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for maintaining all testing faults &amp; consult with different department to rectify during the testing period.<\/li>\n<li>Follow up and coordinate with roaming partners to exchange test results and forward to responsible teams for necessary actions to be taken<\/li>\n<li>Ensure interconnect testing with partners are conducted on time and results shared within SLA<\/li>\n<li>Provide and execute roaming testing schedules for all roaming partners.<\/li>\n<li>Provide other departments with technical roaming information upon request.<\/li>\n<li>Provide necessary information to local staff on necessary configuration(s) required for implementing any roaming partner info on IN &amp; Core Network<\/li>\n<li>Generate relevant weekly and monthly reports on \u00a0IREG, Camel &amp; GSM testing<\/li>\n<li>Ensure\u00a0 roaming systems meet quality standards through proper end user testing during and after implementation<\/li>\n<li>Initiate roaming and interconnect related complaints with all first line interfacing teams to address customer complaints<\/li>\n<li>Remove any unauthorized setup of partners and escalate appropriately.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of a B.Sc.
