Applications are invited from qualified persons to fill the position of M&E Officer for GIRAF and Kasa Projects. The M&E Officer will be part of a team that seeks to improve accountability and to generate knowledge and evidence of impact. Evidence will be used for accountability to all stakeholders, advocacy, risk analysis and mitigation and adapting programming strategies. In this way, the M&E officer will support CARE\u2019s programmes to continuously contribute to poverty reduction in an inclusive, efficient manner. The M&E Officer will be part of our highly motivated national M&E working group. The position is based in Accra with extensive travel in the country.<\/p>\n
Supports the development, implementation, and maintenance of effective and gender sensitive M&E throughout the project cycle
\nSupports CARE partners and the project teams to ensure increased quality reporting and documentation
\nReview partners quarterly reports and support monitoring of partners\u2019 implementation progress and utilization of funding
\nEnsures alignment of CARE and partners\u2019 M&E systems
\nSupports informed decision making in the management and implementation of selected projects
\nEnsure timely data collection and contribute to annual programme reports and donor reports
\nSupport planning of midterm and final evaluations and reviews<\/p>\n
Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n A minimum of 2 years experience as an M&E Officer or similar position with a good experience in natural resources management, rural development, and civil society.
