They will meet with faculty members and assist in matching Cambridge textbooks &amp; course books to their course requirements.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0College Sales Representative<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Accountabilities include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sales \u2013 Achieve the sales\/adoption targets for territory though consultative sales approach<\/li>\n<li>Strategy \u2013 Identify key opportunities in assigned territory and send samples to key decision makers to deliver growth.<\/li>\n<li>Relationships \u2013 Maintain excellent key external &amp; internal relationships to drive growth, develop our market position and facilitate innovation.<\/li>\n<li>Reporting \u2013 Provide sales reports covering highlights and faculty feedback, competitor activity, market trends etc.<\/li>\n<li>Forecasting \u2013 Accurately maintain &amp; manage the customer database &amp; sales pipeline to provide a monthly updated 12-month pipeline view of territory.<\/li>\n<li>Adoptions \u2013 Focus on both roll-over of a targeted number of existing adoptions &amp; secure targeted number of new adoptions<\/li>\n<li>Industry Awareness \u2013 Maintain &amp; develop your knowledge of industry developments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You will have a strong understanding of current print and digital trends in the US. Experience with the databases and required tools for successful sell-through is essential. You will attend relevant events and conferences, and interact with authors, instructors, end-users and others to gain customer insight and market awareness.<\/p>\n<p>Qualified candidates will possess 3-4 years of sales experience in textbook publishing.
