and to ensure these activities are compliant with approved project procedures and established Industry best practice.<\/p>\n<p>This role also provides prompt and accurate reporting of vessel activities to ensure that the DPR is a true representation of the activities on-board the vessel in the previous 24 hours.<\/p>\n<p>This is a Contractor facing role and this position is expected to liaise with various members of the offshore contractor organisation as required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Offshore Vessel Representative<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>**Please note this role is only open to Ghanaian Nationals**<\/p>\n<p><strong>Detailed Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Technical\/Business Skills:-<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Promoting Client EHS standards and expectations through all stages of the work<\/li>\n<li>Delivering a strong EHS leadership and encouragement including \u2018stop the job\u2019 authority<\/li>\n<li>Build strong relationships with the Offshore Contractor personnel to maintain a high quality of performance throughout the project<\/li>\n<li>Acts as single point of contact on board CSV for emergency response and medivac<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities:-<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Interface with Project Team and Client Offshore\/ FPSO Operations Team<\/li>\n<li>Provide expertise\/ guidance on technical issues<\/li>\n<li>Compile and distribute the Client DPR<\/li>\n<li>Maintain log of any operational issues and equipment downtime<\/li>\n<li>Review and sign-off contractor DPR<\/li>\n<li>Attend daily vessel meeting and daily project operational calls<\/li>\n<li>Review and approve offshore MOCs, with the support of onshore team, as required<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and submit FPSO Interface Permits to OIM<\/li>\n<li>Support and contribute to the project SIMOPs planning and management<\/li>\n<li>Capture and distribute lessons learned<\/li>\n<li>Participate in regular area inspections with contractor vessel management team<\/li>\n<li>Liaise and co-ordinate with Tullow onshore logistics team for port call activities and field supply runs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Competency \/ Skill Requirements:-<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong Communication skills (verbal, written and listening skills)<\/li>\n<li>Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships\/ partnerships within the project and wider business<\/li>\n<li>Adopt a proactive approach to identity potential issues before they arise and bring suitable fit for purpose solutions<\/li>\n<li>React quickly &amp; flexibly to changing circumstances and remain calm under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Exercise good judgement in difficult situations and make sound decisions to reach the best outcome<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in and cope with ambiguity<\/li>\n<li>Adopt a pragmatic, fit for purpose approach to achieve the best outcome for the situation<\/li>\n<li>Highly motivated self-starter who can work autonomously and use own initiative in the approach to work<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work effectively as part of a team taking responsibility to manage activities and tasks through to completion<\/li>\n<li>Open, honest &amp; reliable<\/li>\n<li>Awareness and sensitivity to multinational exposures and cultures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key skills:-<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Significant proven experience (&gt;15 years) in a similar role<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in close proximity of an FPSO<\/li>\n<li>Computer literate and effective with \u201coffice\u201d software suite<\/li>\n<li>Interpersonal skills in order to interact with and coordinate the activities of Contractors and within own multi-discipline project team<\/li>\n<li>Current and valid offshore medical and survival certification including BOSIET or FOET<\/li>\n<li>Minimum HND in relevant subject<\/li>\n<li>Preferred areas of expertise:<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge, competency and ideally, experience with walk to work gangway operations and topside lifting operations<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of contractual best practices<\/li>\n<li>Sound knowledge and application of international standards, codes of practice, legislation and industry best practice for offshore operations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We are looking for an individual who can represent the Company to the client, contractors and other associates professionally and articulately.
