\n\u2022 Implement policies, decisions and programmes of the Board
\n\u2022 Establish and implement approved financial, administrative, technical, production, marketing, editorial, internal audit system and procedures and organisational structures for the achievement of the mandate of the agency
\n\u2022 Present a draft annual budget estimates of the agency to the board 3 months before the end of the financial year or as directed by the board
\n\u2022 Present to the Board the annual work-plan based on the approved budget not later than 1 month after the beginning of the financial year
\n\u2022 Ensure that an Audit report is presented to the Board within 3 months after the end of the financial year
\n\u2022 Prepare and submit an annual report on the operations and activities of the agency to the board not later than 2 months after the end of the calender year.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 The successful candidate should be able to serve a term of 4 years before he\/she attains the compulsory retirement age of 60 years.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Demonstrate knowledge of the media and communication, and in particular of wire service\/news agency operations
\n\u2022 Demonstration of creativity and good business acumen
\n\u2022 Excellent leadership and decision making skills
\n\u2022 Good team player
\n\u2022 Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
\n\u2022 Proficiency in computer and software application
\n\u2022 Conversant with the Financial Administration Act, the Public Procurement Act, the internal Audit Agency Act and the National Media Commission Act and
\n\u2022 Excellent marketing orientation and good knowledge of media networks, particularly the electronic media<\/p>\n
