{"id":2974,"date":"2011-04-11T23:11:34","date_gmt":"2011-04-11T23:11:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=2974"},"modified":"2011-04-11T23:11:34","modified_gmt":"2011-04-11T23:11:34","slug":"judicial-service-of-ghana-recruits-deputy-director-of-budget","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/judicial-service-of-ghana-recruits-deputy-director-of-budget.html","title":{"rendered":"Judicial Service Of Ghana Recruits Deputy Director of Budget"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Judicial Service of Ghana<\/strong> as part of the reforms to improve upon and ensure smooth and efficient administration of justice, requires the services of dynamic, result-oriented, self motivated and exceptionally competent individual, to join the Management Team in the following position.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of this position is to ensure efficient and effective preparation, utilization and monitoring of the Budget of the Service.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The specific duties and responsibilities shall include the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Coordinate the preparation of annual budget estimates of the Service<br \/>\nDevelop and prepare budget plans for the Service in line with the Public Procurement Act 2003 (Act 663), Financial Administration Act 2002 (Act 654) and Internal Audit Agency Act, 2003 (Act 653)<br \/>\nManage staff of the Budget Unit including identification of staff training and development needs<br \/>\nAnalyse data to monitor performance and plan improvements<br \/>\nPreparation of monthly\/quarterly\/annual reports to Management<br \/>\nLiaise with the Director of Development, Procurement and Audit in the Procurement and use of the Service&#8217;s assets<br \/>\nPerform any other duty that may be assigned from time to time by the Judicial Secretary<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Minimum Masters Degree in Finance\/Accounting or related discipline from a recognized university<br \/>\nAt least four (4) years post-qualification progressive work experience as a Budget Officer in any Public Sector Institution, three (3) of which should be in management position<br \/>\nMust be a member of relevant professional body<br \/>\nMust have strong leadership, management and supervision skills<br \/>\nMust have strategic analytical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills<br \/>\nMust be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested applicants are to submit the following in addition to an application letter to the address below:<\/p>\n<p>Detailed Curriculum Vitae with contact telephone numbers, E-mail addresses and three (3) references<br \/>\nBrief statement on job responsibilities in current post<br \/>\nTHE JUDICIAL SECRETARY<br \/>\nJUDICIAL SERVICE OF GHANA<br \/>\nP.
