MatCH is a consortium partner implementing the EQUIP project in Ghana. EQUIP is a grant to implement projects in five key solution areas \u2013 innovative models of ART service delivery; innovative approaches to support viral load scale-up; strategies and technologies to more effectively identify and link patients to treatment, foster ongoing adherence and retention; identify approaches that respond to the needs of key populations and promising \u201cTest and Start\u201d strategies.<\/p>\n<p>MatCH is looking for the following staff to join their EQUIP Team based in Ghana.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Program Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Purpose of the Job<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The incumbent will lead and supervise all technical aspects of programme design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of EQUIP-Ghana programmes. Provide oversight of programme administration and financial management of EQUIP programmes and supervise all EQUIP programme staff in country. S\/He serves as main liaison and ensures continuous communication between EQUIP\/MatCH HS -Ghana field operations and EQUIP-MatCH HS Headquarters in Durban. The Programme manager is responsible for the implementation of the EQUIP project in compliance with EQUIP mission, vision and strategic statements and guidelines.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Accra, Ghana.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Performance Areas<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the EQUIP project in Ghana.<\/li>\n<li>Programme development and the writing of project proposals for extension of existing and\/or establishment of new projects in Ghana.<\/li>\n<li>Provide budget management, liaise with local legal entity and ensure efficient use of project resources.<\/li>\n<li>Provide leadership to the clinical and monitoring and evaluation team in compliance with donor rules and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and oversee completion of accurate and timely production of all required reports.<\/li>\n<li>Establish and maintain regular contact with South African MatCH HS EQUIP staff, ministry staff, donors, collaborating partners and others relevant stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Represent MatCH HS and EQUIP at relevant stakeholder meetings or conferences.<\/li>\n<li>Attend to all staffing requirements including administration, recruitment, orientation supervision and management of staff.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required minimum education and training<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant Post graduate degree\/ diploma<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to travel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum work experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>6 years\u2019 relevant experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Professional body registration<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Registered with the relevant professional body<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desirable additional education, work experience and personal abilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Post-graduate degree in public health and diploma or extensive experience in HIV Management and health systems planning and management<\/li>\n<li>Ghanaian citizen preferable<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable leadership, organizational, managerial and communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Prior experience at a senior management level in a donor funded project<\/li>\n<li>Experience in clinical management of HIV-infected patients<\/li>\n<li>Ability to understand and manage team dynamics<\/li>\n<li>Proactive agent influencing positive change with external stakeholders with the ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization and partner organizations<\/li>\n<li>Positive, energetic leader with an ability to adapt to complex situations, manage stress, deliver goals pro-actively<\/li>\n<li>Organized with a thorough and accurate approach to work and attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) in English<\/li>\n<li>Excellent computer skills in MSOffice tools (MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Please note that this vacancy is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Should you be interested in applying for this vacancy, clearly state the name and reference number you are applying for and forward a detailed CV together with copies of ID and all relevant qualifications to:\u00a0hsrecruitment@witshealth.co.za<u>.<\/u><\/p>\n<p><strong>Closing date for applications: 29 March 2018<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"how-to-apply\"><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Should you be interested in applying for this vacancy, clearly state the name and reference number you are applying for and forward a detailed CV together with copies of ID and all relevant qualifications to:\u00a0<strong>hsrecruitment@witshealth.co.za<\/strong><u>.<\/u><\/p>\n<p>Closing date for applications: 29 March 2018<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Maternal, Adolescent &amp; Child Health (MatCH) is a division of the Wits Health\u00a0Consortium under the School of Public Health of the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa.
