{"id":2978,"date":"2011-04-11T23:17:43","date_gmt":"2011-04-11T23:17:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=2978"},"modified":"2011-04-11T23:17:43","modified_gmt":"2011-04-11T23:17:43","slug":"judicial-service-of-ghana-recruits-deputy-director-of-audit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/judicial-service-of-ghana-recruits-deputy-director-of-audit.html","title":{"rendered":"Judicial Service Of Ghana Recruits Deputy Director of Audit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Judicial Service of Ghana<\/strong> as part of the reforms to improve upon and ensure smooth and efficient administration of justice, requires the services of dynamic, result-oriented, self motivated and exceptionally competent individual, to join the Management Team in the following position.<\/p>\n<p>Under the supervision and guidance of the Director of Audit, the duties and responsibilities of the Deputy Director of Audit shall include:<\/p>\n<p>Conduct specific investigations into alleged cases of financial impropriety and any other such matter on the initiative of the Department or as may be referred to the Department<br \/>\nEnsure that internal control and checks systems function effectively<br \/>\nAssist to plan and oversee the performance of internal audit review and prepare regular audit reports for attention of the Judicial Secretary and the Council<br \/>\nSupervise the conduct of pre-auditing of expenditure and ensure that budgetary control systems in the Service are adhered to<br \/>\nAssist in the development of financial policies, procedures and rules for effective planning and controlling of expenditure and budget of the Service in accordance with prescribed accounting standards<br \/>\nEvolve policies and procedures in conformity with standard auditing practices to guide all expenditures<br \/>\nAny other relevant duty that may be assigned by the Director of Audit<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A Masters Degree in Administration\/Finance\/Accounting<br \/>\nMust be a member of the relevant professional body<br \/>\nMust have a minimum of four (4) years post-qualification experience, three (3) of which should be in a management position<br \/>\nDemonstrated knowledge of auditing in the Public Service<br \/>\nProficient in the use of MS Office Suite and computerized auditing<br \/>\nMust have strong leadership, management and supervision skills<br \/>\nStrategic analytical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills<br \/>\nMust be meticulous and pay attention to detail<br \/>\nA track record of accountability and high sense of integrity<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested applicants are to submit the following in addition to an application letter to the address below:<\/p>\n<p>Detailed Curriculum Vitae with contact telephone numbers, E-mail addresses and three (3) references<br \/>\nBrief statement on job responsibilities in current post<br \/>\nTHE JUDICIAL SECRETARY<br \/>\nJUDICIAL SERVICE OF GHANA<br \/>\nP.
