{"id":29894,"date":"2018-04-09T11:48:28","date_gmt":"2018-04-09T11:48:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=29894"},"modified":"2018-04-09T11:48:28","modified_gmt":"2018-04-09T11:48:28","slug":"world-vision-international-current-recruitment-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/world-vision-international-current-recruitment-2018.html","title":{"rendered":"World Vision International Current Recruitment 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To support transactional processes within the General Ledger (GL) department, as detailed in the major responsibilities, as requested by customers, timely and correctly according to Month End and Year End calendar deliverables, by ensuring the compliance of all internal controls, Partnership Finance Manual and General Accounting principles.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0General Ledger Analyst (4 Positions)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To prepare and analyze monthly bank and 300 balance sheet account reconciliations.<\/li>\n<li>To prepare, review and follow up Aging Analysis of Balance Sheet Accounts for reporting purposes, including the monitoring of late balances.<\/li>\n<li>Perform CAL allocation and revaluation process for MEC.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and post the NO-RO monthly and quarterly financial reports in the FFR database.<\/li>\n<li>Upload\/import journal entries and adjustments.<\/li>\n<li>To prepare and send a variety of reports, as needed by customers.<\/li>\n<li>Record and control of Direct Charges.<\/li>\n<li>Maintenance of SOPs and flow charts of GL processes.<\/li>\n<li>Analyze and Update NOs chart of accounts according with Field Financial Manual.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Technical degree in accounting or advanced university studies in Accounting (Third year minimum).<\/li>\n<li>Preferred Bachelor\u00b4s degree with a major in Finance, business or accounting or advanced studies in bachelor degree.<\/li>\n<li>Functional knowledge of accounting processes.<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in English spoken and written, Spanish desirable.<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility and ability to work on different aspects of the general ledger.<\/li>\n<li>A good knowledge of best practices within a project accounting environment and how to drive performance through better behaviors.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to perform and direct root cause analysis over various aspects of performance.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of technology; including data structure, analysis codes and business rules.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with multidimensional reporting concepts and structures.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated strong work ethic and flexible hours as needed; ability to drive results and meet strict deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>High knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).<\/li>\n<li>High knowledge of internal controls principles.<\/li>\n<li>At least one or more years of experience in General Ledger activities.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent customer service skills.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated strong work ethic and flexible hours as needed;
