For complex project, in charge mainly of the on-shore scope of the project.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Manage the allocated project in order to achieve the project goals and objectives<\/li>\n<li>Manage and lead the whole project team in order to achieve and further improve the cost, schedule, quality and EHS targets<\/li>\n<li>Own, maintain and revise the project execution strategy<\/li>\n<li>Establish, implement and maintain operating standards to ensure quality project results and customer satisfaction<\/li>\n<li>Ensure project compliance to GE Spirit &amp; Letter, GPS Golden Rules, local regulations and EHS requirements<\/li>\n<li>Perform proper risk and opportunity management<\/li>\n<li>Analyze risks, establish contingency plans and identify trigger events and responsibility for initiating mitigation action. Work closely with his\/her direct reports (as per OTR project team organization) project team members in tracking and reporting on progress to plan, cost and schedule reporting, and change management<\/li>\n<li>Initiate and execute gate reviews as appropriate<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and perform senior management project reviews as requested<\/li>\n<li>Provide input justification for project costs and budget impacts<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain corresponding relationships with customer (and\/or partners and main subcontractors for TKwP) to ensure smooth operation of projects and smooth dispute resolution<\/li>\n<li>Conduct progress review meetings with customer (and\/or partners and\/or main subcontractors for TKwP)<\/li>\n<li>Perform negotiations with customers (and\/or partners and\/or main subcontractors for TKwP)<\/li>\n<li>Define effective claim strategies towards customer (and\/or partners and\/or main subcontractors for TKwP)<\/li>\n<li>Resolve issues related to customer relations (and\/or partner relations and\/or main subcontractors relations for TKwP), governmental relations, project quality, project risk and project safety<\/li>\n<li>Influence selection of team members with responsible line function<\/li>\n<li>Gain commitment on the performance of activities with team members and their managers<\/li>\n<li>Manage and communicate a clear vision of the projects objectives, and motivate the project team to achieve them; create a project environment that enables peak performance by team members<\/li>\n<li>Establish and publish clear priorities among project activities<\/li>\n<li>Arbitrate and resolve conflict and interface problems within the project team<\/li>\n<li>Effectively coordinate the activities of the team to meet project milestones<\/li>\n<li>Coach to clarify assignments and deliverables; mentor others in project management practices; review quality of work and manages team members work<\/li>\n<li>Provide input to project people performance reviews to functions<\/li>\n<li>Authority to instruct project team members on all project related issues<\/li>\n<li>Authority to sign correspondence and documents with third parties according to the applicable signature procedure<\/li>\n<li>Capture return of experience and best practice<\/li>\n<li>Determine what constitutes successful acceptance conditions for all parties such as but not limited to customer and\/or partners and main subcontractors for TKwP. Gain acceptance and sign-off by all these parties<\/li>\n<li>Ensure adherence to the determined escalation process<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications\/Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Technical degree from an accredited university or college\/or equivalent<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>5 years\u2019 experience in leading the execution of complex infrastructure projects in challenging environments<\/li>\n<li>Experience in negotiation of complex contracts and sound commercial understanding of project feasibilities, market differentiators and the power business generally<\/li>\n<li>Experience of Health and Safety leadership in challenging project environments<\/li>\n<li>Negotiation experience<\/li>\n<li>PMP Certification or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in the role\u2019s location<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Characteristics<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Project Management and contract management experience<\/li>\n<li>Fully conversant with risk and opportunities process<\/li>\n<li>Resilient, reliable, strong communication skills with customers<\/li>\n<li>Capable of seeing the big picture and long term view<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GE is the world\u2019s Digital Industrial Company, transforming industry with software-defined machines and solutions that are connected, responsive and predictive.
