They are listed on the stock index of the Ghana Stock Exchange, the GSE All-Share Index. It formed in 1991.When production started at its inception, the company produced only Guinness Foreign Extra Stout, popularly known as Guinness. The primary depot was at the same position with stores across the country particularly in the south. In 1988\/89 another brand, this time non-alcoholic beverage, Malta Guinness was introduced and that became an instant hit capturing almost 70% of that market.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Supplier Performance Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>PURPOSE<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Lead team where appropriate<\/li>\n<li>Manage appropriate operational and financial performance relationships with suppliers<\/li>\n<li>Implement and embed Supplier Performance Management framework to ensure that contracts deliver value through cost reduction and improved service and quality performance<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that Supplier Performance levels continue to improve to meet wider Diageo needs and support key projects &amp; initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Lead the end-to-end management of Local categories<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Relevant degree or equivalent experience<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated commercial acumen<\/li>\n<li>3 to 5 years procurement experience in managing suppliers<\/li>\n<li>Proven track record of consistent performance and delivery (what &amp; how of performance)<\/li>\n<li>Proven influencing skills and personal impact to gain credibility quickly with stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Strong executional capability aligned with ability to understand and interpret strategy<\/li>\n<li>Strong coaching capability and ability to prioritise and manage a varied agenda<\/li>\n<li>Has experience of working within the Performance Management structure of KPIs and Tier Review Meeting Structure<\/li>\n<li>Has a proven track record in adherence to Core Process and Standards<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrates role model behaviour and coaches others across Categories and Markets to follow a consistent approach and go beyond mandatory minimum requirements<\/li>\n<li>Proactively leverages the learning curriculums and materials on Diageo Academy and other sources to continuously grow and develop in role<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>ACCOUNTABILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Lead, inspire, grow and develop the team, where applicable, through\u00a0 P4G and iDevelop processes, bringing to life through amazing coaching<\/li>\n<li>Identification and delivery of cost reduction\/value enhancement initiatives within Category<\/li>\n<li>Lead cross functional supplier management teams to drive performance and align priorities to stakeholder requirements<\/li>\n<li>Manage suppliers to deliver targeted Service and Quality levels and drive continuous improvement agenda<\/li>\n<li>Input stakeholder and performance needs to global sourcing activities and \u00a0strategy development as appropriate<\/li>\n<li>Lead sourcing and associated negotiation and contracting aligned to the category strategy for Glocal categories<\/li>\n<li>Lead management of Local categories<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance to all governance requirements e.g. contracts, KYBP, Partnering with Suppliers.
