Manage the on boarding for non-permanent employees and partners.\u00a0 Ensure confidentiality and non-compete (where applicable) agreements are in place for all partners, non-permanent employees and individual contractors.<\/li>\n<li>Compensation Management \u2013 Ensure that minimum wage, legally required statutory deductions and overtime laws\u00a0are fully applied.<\/li>\n<li>Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts \u2013 Ensure relevant, compliant and fully documented contracts are in place for partners, partner employees and individual contractors. Draft and revise contracts as updates become available and confirm contract terms are understood by non-permanent employees.\u00a0 Develop and maintain digital and paper system of contracts, other documentation, and records.<\/li>\n<li>Policies and Procedures \u2013 Develop, implement and manage processes around the employment lifecycle (resourcing, talent management, recognition and reward, engagement, performance management) of non-permanent employees for a seamless MTN experience whiles noting accountability expectations and protection against legal, regulatory, and liability issues.<\/li>\n<li>End to end management of interns.<\/li>\n<li>Engagement \u2013 structure and manage non-permanent employees and partners whiles providing internal customer support\u00a0as the point of contact for managing all HR partners and third party employees.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that management practices of all third party partners (Agencies, Managed Services, and Volume Management) comply with regulatory requirements and MTN\u2019s practices to minimize exposure to the business.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure excellent people management practices for all third party employees<\/li>\n<li>Identify and source partnership opportunities through follow-up, emails and client visits.<\/li>\n<li>Reporting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Context:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dynamic and competitive telecommunication industry<\/li>\n<li>Multinational environment \u2013 HR Group best practices<\/li>\n<li>Matrix and projects environment<\/li>\n<li>Performance driven environment<\/li>\n<li>Diverse workforce demographics &amp; Employee Expectations<\/li>\n<li>Labour regulations &amp; legislations<\/li>\n<li>Unionized environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>A First Degree in Human Resources, Law, Psychology or related discipline<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>5 years\u2019 experience as a Contract employee\u2019s management administrator, HR Business Partner, Contract management at the supervisory level or at least 3 years in a management role<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Professional competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)<\/li>\n<li>Excellent analytical and time-management skills<\/li>\n<li>Strict adherence to company guidelines, compliance laws, and legal requirements<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management<\/li>\n<li>Solid verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Knowledge in Partnership Management<\/li>\n<li>Leading Virtual Teams<\/li>\n<li>Generalist HR experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills &amp; Physical Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manages self and team performance, good conflict management, takes and manages accountability<\/li>\n<li>Energy &amp; Drive \u2013 Innovative, Takes initiative, result oriented and develops self consistently<\/li>\n<li>Interpersonal Skills\u00a0 \u2013\u00a0 Leadership, customer centricity, collaborative and\u00a0 coaches &amp; develops direct reports<\/li>\n<li>Personal Skills\u00a0 \u2013 Trustworthy, integrity and ethical in dealings<\/li>\n<li>Operating Skills \u2013 Ability to focus on priorities and plans, manages and monitors work effectively<\/li>\n<li>Organisational Positioning Skills\u00a0 \u2013\u00a0 Good written and verbal communication, commitment to the organization<\/li>\n<li>Strategic Skills \u2013 Global thinker, Analytical thinking and Problem solving abilities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>NB: The Incumbent must maintain strict confidentiality at all times<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified applicants should send their Curriculum Vitae by 5th April 2018 to:<\/p>\n<p>Email: mtnghanarecruitment@mtn.com<\/p>\n<p>Kindly indicate the Position (exact role you are applying for) in the email subject and note that only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Responsible for managing HR resourcing partnerships with businesses and individuals to deliver a seamless one MTN experience.
