Its economic growth has enabled innovative businesses to flourish and this is where Jumia steps in.<\/p>\n<p>We are currently looking for talented people with a passion for emerging markets and Africa to join our team and embark on our exciting journey.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Local Affiliate Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Main responsibilities :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Owns the local sales strategy, and leads its execution to \u201chunt\u201d and \u201cclose\u201d new local partners.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Generate leads and efficiently regular contact with existing prospects.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Own relationship and support to on-boarded local partners, ensuring their education, satisfaction and maximizing their business on the keep in program.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Negotiate commission structures with top sites and partners to ensure maximum profitability.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Work with the marketing department to create campaigns to attract potential affiliates.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Own relationship and support to top local partners, ensuring their education, \u00a0and satisfaction to maximize their performance on the program.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Follow up on affiliate campaigns to ensure they are kept within budget and maximum ROI is achieved.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Analyse local channel performance and send weekly performance reports.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Maximize networking and community building opportunities and by regularly setting up events bringing affiliates together.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Request artwork for weekly campaigns to be shared with affiliates.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Send a weekly promotional newsletter to affiliates telling them about the top campaigns, categories and products to promote.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Localize any central material to fit the local market, for example video tutorials or sales pitch material.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Liaise with the finance team to ensure regular and prompt payments to affiliates.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Occasionally support on central affiliate marketing projects.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements &amp;
