MatCH is a consortium partner implementing the EQUIP project. EQUIP is an international grant to implement projects in five key solution areas \u2013 innovative models of ART service delivery; innovative approaches to support viral load scale-up; strategies and technologies to more effectively identify and link patients to treatment, foster ongoing adherence and retention; identify approaches that respond to the needs of key populations and promising \u201cTest and Start\u201d strategies in countries in Africa, South East Asia and the Caribbean.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator \u2013 Ref 1154<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>MatCH is looking for the following staff to join their EQUIP Team based in Ghana.<\/p>\n<p>Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator- Ref: 1154<\/p>\n<p>Main Purpose of the Job<\/p>\n<p>The incumbent will support a team in providing M&amp;E technical support in Ghana selected sites located in various regions.<\/p>\n<p>Location<\/p>\n<p>Ghana Regions<\/p>\n<p>Key Performance Areas<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide M&amp;E technical support<\/li>\n<li>Capacity Building and training<\/li>\n<li>Reporting and generation of Quality Improvement Plans<\/li>\n<li>Conduct Quality Assurance and Improve the Quality of data<\/li>\n<li>Improve Data Management systems<\/li>\n<li>Participate in site surveys, assessments and audits<\/li>\n<li>Effective self-management and performance ownership<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Required minimum education and training<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Completion of relevant tertiary level education<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in local languages and level IV in English<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Minimum work experience<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in data management, research and\/or monitoring and evaluation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Desirable additional education, work experience and personal abilities<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Senior Education Mathematics or Statistics<\/li>\n<li>Must be willing to travel extensively at short notice<\/li>\n<li>Drivers licence with driving experience<\/li>\n<li>Very good computer skills (MS office Package)<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Public speaking and ability to conduct presentations in a professional environment<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated<\/li>\n<li>Able to work independently and work as part of a diverse and multi-disciplinary team<\/li>\n<li>Good attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of data systems and global health indicators (USAID)<\/li>\n<li>Data Auditing experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is a three month fixed term contract.<\/p>\n<p class=\"how-to-apply\"><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Should you be interested in applying for this vacancy, clearly state the name and reference number you are applying for and forward a detailed CV together with copies of ID and all relevant qualifications to:\u00a0<strong>hsrecruitment@witshealth.co.za<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Closing date for applications:\u00a023 May 2018<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Maternal, Adolescent &amp; Child Health (MatCH) is a division of the Wits Health Consortium under the School of Public Health of the University of the Witwatersrand.
