\n\u2022 Effectively manage the engineering & transport departments to achieve organizational objectives
\n\u2022 Plan and manage the maintenance and repair of all site machinery and vehicles
\n\u2022 Monitor and produce quarterly performance reports for submission to the GM
\n\u2022 Evaluate and maintain all occupational health and safety programmes for your departments
\n\u2022 Maintain records of engineering activities for the company for audit purposes
\n\u2022 Plan, write and schedule with the GM on the implementation of audit on key operational practices for your department. Report on audit results
\n\u2022 Manage and report on the economical use of fuel by the generators. Eliminate wastage and inappropriate use of fuel
\n\u2022 Maintain and manage machinery to a budget agreed with the CM. Produce a monthly report on this communicate information about machinery that may adversely affect the production of finished products as soon as possible to GM
\n\u2022 Analyse engineering and transport costs. Identify, implement and report to GM on cost reductions.
\n\u2022 Meet deadlines and be avaliable after normal business hours when required
\n\u2022 Operate your departments with minimum effect and reducing the impact on the environment. Ensure ethical practices in your departments. Understand and implement the objectives of the sustainability committee
\n\u2022 Undertake any other duties assigned by the GM<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Fair knowledge in Mechanical Engineering
\n\u2022 Hands-on experience in refrigeration
\n\u2022 A master\u2019s degree in a relevant engineering field would be an added advantage
\n\u2022 Not less than 4 years work experience in the food and beverage indusutry
\n\u2022 Good oral and written english
\n\u2022 Strong knowledge of MS Office, including word, excel and PowerPoint<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Supervisory skills
\n\u2022 Problem-solving and analytical abilities
\n\u2022 Communication & interpersonal skills
\n\u2022 Initiative & proactivity
\n\u2022 Team leader
\n\u2022 Demonstrates integrity and good work ethics<\/p>\n
