Job Title: Country Fraud Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n Purpose:<\/strong> Head the Fraud Management team in country in preventing and detecting fraud Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n Detailed understanding of operational processes impacting fraud
\nTo implement the fraud management program through the embedding of the Barclays Africa (BA) Fraud Policy and Group Fraud Policies to reduce fraud losses, as well as develop a holistic fraud program.<\/p>\n
\nImplement the country and Group fraud policies and ensure compliance
\nOrganize fraud induction and fraud awareness training for employees in line with policy
\nUndertake fraud risk assessments in line with the Group fraud risk control framework policy
\nImplement fraud prevention\/detection processes and systems
\nProvide monthly MI to the BA regional office tracking fraud loss, recovery and trends
\nParticipate in the BA Fraud working Group
\nRepresent the bank at fraud forums\/industry groups and liaise with law enforcement agencies
\nReview all New Products for Fraud Risk
\nRecruit, train and develop the fraud management team
\nConduct ongoing reviews of control processes and vendor audits<\/p>\n
\nSound knowledge of risk control framework
\nDetailed knowledge of people policies and procedures
\nAbility to analyse data and ensure definitions are correctly applied
\nKnowledge of fraud detection\/prevention systems
\nGood understanding of Financial and Budget management
\nWorking knowledge of IT\/MI skills with good presentation skills
\nPrevious experience in criminal investigations with formal police and\/or intelligence training
\nCurrent or Ex police\/CID officer with ability to train laymen is preferred<\/p>\n
