\n\u2022 Champion office and land transportation safety efforts in Ghana
\n\u2022 Liaise with appropriate personnel in GNPC, Ghana EPA and other external stakeholders as required by the stakeholder management plan
\n\u2022 Collaborate and coordinate with other EHS&SR personnel in Takoradi, London collaborate and coordinate with other EHS&SR personnel in Takoradi, London and Houston to ensure that all EHS&SR activities on the work plan are completed
\n\u2022 Collaborate with E&P SR Advisor in Houston to develop SR plans and assist in their implementation
\n\u2022 Assist in the development and maintenance of Emergency Response (ER) ducmentation. Ensure ER critical rooms and or equipment in Accra are maintained in a state of readiness
\n\u2022 Assist in the design and facilitation of ER drills
\n\u2022 Keep up to date with proposed changes in legislation affecting EHS&SR. Ensure internal stakeholders are apprrised of these changes and their effects on operations planning
\n\u2022 Assist in incident investigations as required
\n\u2022 Participate in risk assessments as required
\n\u2022 Develop processes and procedures as required and in line with EHS&SR standards.Engage internal stakeholders during the development of any required processes and procedures
\n\u2022 Implement global EHS&SR initiatives in Ghana as required
\n\u2022 Interface management of the in-country EHS\/SR support for GDC projects as it pertains to contractor management, risk management, emergency response, regulatory and environment.
\n\u2022 Provide necessary support to other operations\/activities in Ghana as and when they arise. Examples may include shorebase support, of offshore seismic surveys, etc<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Excellent communication skills with diverse colleagues and stakeholders including both administrative and operations personnel
\n\u2022 Strong influencing skills
\n\u2022 Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with regulators
\n\u2022 Knowledge of Oilfield operations
\n\u2022 Experience in developing or maintaining emergency response, programmes
\n\u2022 Experience in running Land Transportation safety programmes
\n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s Degree in appropriate discipline is preferred<\/p>\n
