We impact products across Google including Search, Maps and Google Now.<br \/>\nWe\u2019ve already been joined by some of the best and the brightest minds in AI, and we\u2019re looking for talented software engineers that have applied experience in the fields of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to join our team.<br \/>\nAs a Software Engineer in Machine Intelligence, you\u2019ll work on a small team, collaborating closely with other product teams and you\u2019re able to switch projects as our fast-paced business grows and evolves. We need our engineers to be versatile and passionate to tackle new problems. Because you\u2019ll be working with cutting-edge technology, you\u2019ll also get a chance to work closely with researchers across Google.<br \/>\nThere is always more information out there, and the Knowledge team has a never-ending quest to find it and make it accessible. We\u2019re constantly refining our signature search engine to provide better results, and developing offerings like Google Instant, Google Voice Search and Google Image Search to make it faster and more engaging. We\u2019re providing users around the world with great search results every day, but at Google, great just isn\u2019t good enough. We\u2019re just getting started.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Software Engineer, Research and Machine Intelligence<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-test-job-description=\"\"><strong>Responsibilities<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Participate in research for artificial intelligence and machine learning applications.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and develop solutions to challenges in this area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<br \/>\n<\/strong>Minimum qualifications:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>BS degree in Computer Science, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with machine learning, algorithms (e.g., linear regression, classification, neural networks) and linear algebra, probability\/statistics.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with coding in C, C++, Java and\/or Python.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>MS degree or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related technical field.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At Google, we don\u2019t just accept difference \u2013 we celebrate it, we support it, and we thrive on it for the benefit of our employees, our products and our community.
