AGRA has its headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya and an office in Accra, Ghana.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>AGRA is seeking to recruit a highly competent  and experienced individual to fill the position of Associate Program Officer &#8211; Project Manager. The position will be based in Tamale, on a three year contract.<\/p>\n<p>Providing critical technical input into project implementation and overall management and supervision of the project<br \/>\nManaging and providing overall supervision for the Project Implementation Team<br \/>\nMonitoring project implementation against the established indicators detailed in the Project&#8217;s Logical Framework<br \/>\nPlanning and coordinating activities with the implementing agencies for project visibility according to the set guidelines<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Master&#8217;s degree in agriculture or related social science degree with a diploma\/postgraduate degree in project management with 10 years similar work experience with at least five years in project management and implementation<br \/>\nExcellent oral and written communication skills in English as well as reporting and presentation skills<br \/>\nKnowledge and understanding of Ghana&#8217;s agricultural development agenda, experience with value chain development in a not-for-profit and international environment combined with private sector experience would be a distinct advantage<br \/>\nAbility to travel as well as advanced knowledge in computing especially in Microsoft Office applications<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applicants should submit their applications with a detailed CV stating their current position, remuneration, email and telephone contacts, quoting reference number: APO\/PM\/04\/11 on both the application letter and envelope.
