{"id":30900,"date":"2018-06-20T11:45:03","date_gmt":"2018-06-20T11:45:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=30900"},"modified":"2018-06-20T11:45:03","modified_gmt":"2018-06-20T11:45:03","slug":"world-vision-ghana-currently-recruiting-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/world-vision-ghana-currently-recruiting-2018.html","title":{"rendered":"World Vision Ghana Currently Recruiting 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To support transactional processes within the GL department, as detailed in the major responsibilities, as requested by customers, timely and correctly according to Month End and Year End calendar deliverables, by ensuring the compliance of all internal controls, Partnership Finance Manual and General Accounting principles.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0General Ledger Assistant x2<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Upload\/import journals including budget and actual transactions globally.<\/li>\n<li>Accounts allocation globally.<\/li>\n<li>Making Pre-approvals process for National Offices (NOs) and Regional Offices (ROs).<\/li>\n<li>To archive journals and other documents.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS &amp; ABILITIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Technical degree in accounting or beginning (first year) university studies in Finance, Administration or Accounting.<\/li>\n<li>Functional knowledge of accounting processes.<\/li>\n<li>Desirable English communication; French language required, spoken and written.<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility and ability to work on different aspects of the general ledger.<\/li>\n<li>A good knowledge of best practices within a project accounting environment and how to drive performance through better behaviors.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to perform and direct root cause analysis over various aspects of performance.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of technology; including data structure, analysis codes and business rules.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with multidimensional reporting concepts and structures.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated strong work ethic and flexible hours as needed; ability to drive results and meet strict deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Basic knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).<\/li>\n<li>A good knowledge of internal controls principles.<\/li>\n<li>At least 6 months experience in GL.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent customer service skills.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated strong work ethic and flexible hours as needed;
