We expect to mobilise in August\/September 2018.<\/p>\n<p>If you would like to be the first one to hear about this opportunity when it will arise, submit an expression of interest now and let\u2019s stay in touch.<\/p>\n<p>Inspection of Application of Field Joint Coating System, Including Field Joint Insulation Coating.<\/p>\n<p>Inspection and verification of welding activities including qualification of welders, procedure specifications and welding machines.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Welding and Coating Inspector \u2013 Level 2\u00a0.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Inspection of coatings.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for material ordering, co-ordinating painting and production activities, maintaining cost control, transportation scheduling, project estimating.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all equipments are in good condition.<\/li>\n<li>Follow up abrasive blasting works.<\/li>\n<li>Inspect the cleaned blasted area according to specification requirements (ISO 8501-1)<\/li>\n<li>Climate condition records along the day.<\/li>\n<li>Control mixing of paint material.<\/li>\n<li>Spraying works audits and wet film thickness measurements.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that Coatings and wrappings are installed properly. Co-ordination with Resident Engineer and Contract for all welding and costings\/lining activities.<\/li>\n<li>Inspection and verification of welding activities including qualification of welders, procedure specifications and welding machines.<\/li>\n<li>Check only approved electrodes, wires and gas are used.<\/li>\n<li>Control welding consumables and documents.<\/li>\n<li>Visual inspection of pipe fit up and welds joints.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor performances of the welders on the basis of radiographic inspection and promote corrective action, where necessary check final dimension, material traceability, orientation and cleanliness after completion of spool fabrication.<\/li>\n<li>NDE inspection and pressure tests in accordance with the approved procedures and QC plan for site activities.<\/li>\n<li>Collection of inspection records, maintain and update inspection and test status.<\/li>\n<li>Radio graphic inspection of Radio graphs and Ultrasonic files.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5 years minimum experience as a caotings inspector.<\/li>\n<li>NACE Level 2<\/li>\n<li>SAQCC Level 2<\/li>\n<li>5 years minimum experience as welding inspector.<\/li>\n<li>SAIW senior inspector or CSWIP Level 2 or equivalent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Comments:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Eligibility to work in Ghana (due to nationality or work permit) is an advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School Diploma.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What We Offer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people.
