\n\u2022 Directs and supervise the implementation of an effective risk types to ensure regular monitoring activities, timely identification and reporting of significant risks\/lossess including effective mitigation and control actions in the Bank
\n\u2022 Design and implement the overall risk management process for the organisattion
\n\u2022 Manage the risk level of the Bank by ensuring compliance with all legislation and regulations
\n\u2022 Provide leadership in the proactive engagement of heads of departments\/unit Heads to promote co-operation and coordination while ensuring that business
\n\u2022 Oversee operational risk assessments in the bank and investigation of breaches of standards, legislation, guidelines, policies and procedures to be reported to the appropriate authorities
\n\u2022 Review proposals submitted by the credit manager on behalf of the credit officers ensuring they are in line with the Bank\u2019s credit policy before they are presented to the credit committee (CC) or the Board
\n\u2022 Manage, motivate and coach the enterprise credit team to ensure they are delivering their objectives in line with agreed standards and quality and where necessary implement development programmes to optimize competence and productivity
\n\u2022 Lead in the drive to create risk awareness by ensuring that all employees and the bank receive risk awareness training and that this is updated regularly to ensure proactive self-assessment to minimize the occurrence of incidents
\n\u2022 Oversee the management of the Bank\u2019s financial risks providing regular reports on its position and proactively advising on strategies and positions to take to mitigate potential risks that become apparent in the Bank\u2019s financial systems and operations
\n\u2022 Set up an early warning system which highlights the Bank in distress for the necessary action to be taken<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Membership of a recognised professional body
\n\u2022 5 years relevant working experience with at least 3 years in management role
\n\u2022 Extensive experience and expertise in risk management, especially in banking and credit risk<\/p>\n
