\n\u2022 Liaise with Well Engineering Group, London and sub-surface personnel to ensure reservoir requirements are delivered.
\n\u2022 Build effective relationships and interact professionally with internal\/external stakeholders and service companies.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Ensures EHS is inherent in all programming and well designs
\n\u2022 Ensures EHS is at the highest priority in all elements of programme delivery
\n\u2022 Deliver the Company EHS message during any rig or site visit<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Ensures continuous improvement and Lessons Learnt are captured in the Drilling Operations Programmes and documentation
\n\u2022 Identifies performance improvement opportunities<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Provide on-time well engineering services which represent company standards and procedures and\/or best industry practice
\n\u2022 Provide technical expertise in drilling operations including the design, execution, and post job analysis as needed.
\n\u2022 Plan future wells and ensuring required materials and services are available in country and allocated as required.
\n\u2022 Generate Outline and Detailed Drilling Programmes on a well by well basis.
\n\u2022 Close out rig generated actions and queries in relation to well engineering and supplier\/contractor relations to support the operation including FIR\u2019s.
\n\u2022 Prepare Final Well Reports on a well by well basis.
\n\u2022 Maintain the Lessons Learned database.
\n\u2022 Liaise and verify vendors\u2019 well specific programmes (e.g. drilling fluids, directional plans, cement programmes, etc.)
\n\u2022 Issue all programmes to the required recipients, including the drilling rig personnel.
\n\u2022 Facilitate pre-spud meetings
\n\u2022 QA\/QC Wellview DDR data quality.
\n\u2022 Conduct specialist projects from time to time as requested by the DES including optimisation and\/or reduction in well cost.
\n\u2022 Work with Service Providers to develop training for the Staff and for the rig crews.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders, service companies.
\n\u2022 Mentor and develop staff (ie expat and Ghanaian)<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Perform well\/operations hazard assessments and HAZOPs as required.
\n\u2022 Maintain well risk register.
\n\u2022 Ensure engineering mitigations are implemented.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Develop well cost estimates for AFE compilation
\n\u2022 Maintain cost control records and Cost Reports as required.
\n\u2022 QA\/QC well cost reconciliations.<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 Valid well control certificate
\n\u2022 Valid survival certification<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Subsea drilling and completions experience in deep water or ultra-deep water.
\n\u2022 Knowledge of subsea completions preferably including running of intelligent completions, subsea well testing, and subsea tree \/ landing string systems.
