This includes network performance monitoring, statistical reporting, data collection for network improvement, creation and customization of optimisation report, participate in network performance improvement projects, benchmark report analysis.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Specialist, Packets Core Network Planning<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Division:\u00a0\u00a0 Network Group<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Department: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Network Planning<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:\u00a0 Accra<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Position:\u00a0\u00a0 Specialist, Packets Core Network Planning<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Level: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 MTN Level 2<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Reports to: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Manager, Core Network Planning<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate the implementation of an optimal and cost-effective Data Network for MTN Ghana, ensuring Mobile and fixed Data projects match the commercial requirements<\/li>\n<li>Analyse and provide reports on capacity and bandwidth usage, user application\/experience and critical upgrades on the Mobile and Fixed Data Network.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor adherence to processes and procedures to ensure conformance to best practices, thereby identifying opportunities for improvements.<\/li>\n<li>Provide inputs into the Mobile and fixed Data Network planning process to achieve the set quality and key performance indicators (KPIs) targets.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate vendor-related emergency maintenance on the Mobile and Fixed Data Network, through Work order releases and the necessary approval requests.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain standards for Mobile and Fixed Data Network access control and auditing, providing optimization and cost-effective input to the Data Network design.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for constant tracking, monitoring and resolution of faults on the Mobile and Fixed Data Network.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for implementation of change requests and planned work.<\/li>\n<li>Understand the telecommunication industry trends, developments and their impact on MTN\u2019s current and future business.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor performance statistics and generate weekly reports, providing monthly and quarterly progress updates on Mobile and Data projects<\/li>\n<li>Ensure value is created from Customer engagement, Planning &amp; Operational engagement process.<\/li>\n<li>Support relevant units to develop the required contractual documents for Mobile and Fixed Data Network projects, ensuring projects are implemented in accordance with the agreed plan and strategy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of BSc.
