Once successful a permanet postion will be offered in one of our other operations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Operations Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Operation manager to report to the Country Manager<\/p>\n<p><strong>THE ROLE:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Operations Manager is responsible for the aspects of the retail and network operations including: regional staff, managers, cashiers and agents. The role is responsible for increasing sales, monitoring P&amp;L and ensuring compliance with the company\u2019s standard operating procedures.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensuring all outlets are setup to specification and that products are always running.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Review and analysis of retail and network sales.<\/li>\n<li>Review all training records.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures that all managers &amp; staff are trained to the required standards<\/li>\n<li>Conducts appraisals for managers with regular meetings to set targets and goals.<\/li>\n<li>Follow up on customer complaints and feedback.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with developing the sales network of agents.<\/li>\n<li>Submit monthly and quarterly reports for sales\/margin performance.<\/li>\n<li>Managing, motivating and supporting store managers with specific issues, such as staffing and business management.<\/li>\n<li>Sales and retail staff recruitment.<\/li>\n<li>Performs other duties pertinent to the position job as assigned by Country manager.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Communication &amp; Working Relationships<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Works closely with store managers and country manager to ensure the consistent implementation of company standards.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates with different departments in head office to guarantee effective communication.<\/li>\n<li>Interacts with customers to follow-up on their satisfaction, requests, and complaints.<\/li>\n<li>Manages operational issues on a daily basis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills and Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor degree in any field.<\/li>\n<li>Previous management role within Africa essential.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent operations knowledge of retail.<\/li>\n<li>Skills in managing people, setting goals\/targets, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office applications.<\/li>\n<li>Ideally experience from gaming and lottery but if not, at least a genuine interest of sports betting and lottery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Due to the large number of applicants we won\u2019t be able to get to every application.
