Job Title:\u00a0Ghana IRRP Energy Modeler<\/strong><\/p>\n

Energy Modeler (Power Sector) \u2013 Accra, Ghana
\nUSAID\/Ghana Integrated Resource and Resilience Planning (IRRP) Project<\/b><\/p>\n

ICF is seeking applications for an energy modeling related position for the Accra-based U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) funded project on Integrated Resource and Resilience Planning (IRRP). The IRRP project seeks to improve power sector planning in Ghana, and has been supporting the Ghana power sector agencies for the last two years.<\/p>\n

The Energy Modeler will work closely with the Chief-of-Party and the Senior Power Sector Expert on improving existing, and developing new power sector planning models; supporting ICF\u2019s capacity building activities, particularly in power sector planning, transmission and distribution; and supporting the implementation of the Integrated Power Sector Master Plan (IPSMP). Applicants must be able to demonstrate related experience in Ghana or West Africa and ability to work closely with various power sector stakeholders in achieving key project deliverables.<\/p>\n

The Energy Modeler will be a key member of ICF\u2019s team based in Accra, Ghana. Hiring for this position is contingent on approval from USAID.<\/p>\n
