Growth in this region is currently 6% but could reach 10% by F09.<br \/>\n<u><\/u><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Electrical Automation Engineer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>PURPOSE<\/strong><br \/>\nThis role is key in the GGBL site packaging maintenance team.\u00a0 The Packaging Engineer \u2013Electrical\/Automation Engineer reports to the Packaging Maintenance Engineer and is responsible for the delivery of plant availability and machine efficiency, working with his team of technicians.<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Executes maintenance activities to ensure plant availability of &gt;95% and aggregate OEE of\u00a0 &gt; 50% in conformance with all engineering and safety standards.<\/li>\n<li>Implements maintenance policies and tactical plans.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Degree in Engineering\/ HND Engineering.<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of 3 years experience in maintenance engineering in food or drink manufacturing environment.<\/li>\n<li>A holder of the GhIE or equivalent recognized body will be useful<\/li>\n<li>Proven first line management skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills &amp; Knowledge<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Computer Literate<\/li>\n<li>Resource management Skills<\/li>\n<li>People management &amp; motivational skills<\/li>\n<li>Networking\/influencing \/communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Counselling skills<\/li>\n<li>Research skills<\/li>\n<li>Manage complexity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>ACCOUNTABILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Achieve 100% conformance to Safety, Statutory and Engineering and Risk Management Standards.<\/li>\n<li>Provide input into packaging maintenance plans<\/li>\n<li>Achieve packaging engineering Key Performance Indicators<\/li>\n<li>Improve asset performance versus targets through the execution of effective planned maintenance activities (e.g. shutdowns, overhauls) and providing technical input into packaging teams in collaboration with the packaging maintenance planner.<\/li>\n<li>Implement best engineering practices and provide input into packaging asset care management.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the execution of packaging overhauls to ensure that these activities are completed on time to specifications and budget.<\/li>\n<li>Optimize product quality, through continuous observation and attention to detail, delivering Right First Time (RFT) on quality and control parameters. Respond to non-conformances in a timely manner to keep process on track. Apply, record &amp; share learning\u2019s to prevent re-occurrence.<\/li>\n<li>Manage materials, components and spares required by their plant and equipment \u2013 includes draw down stock from locally provided \u201cbins\u201d and be accountable for whatever stock is drawn down.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GGBL operates in four drinks categories: Stout, Lager, RTD and Malt categories.
