{"id":31548,"date":"2018-07-16T14:51:25","date_gmt":"2018-07-16T14:51:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=31548"},"modified":"2018-07-16T14:51:25","modified_gmt":"2018-07-16T14:51:25","slug":"current-recruitment-at-modec-ghana-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/current-recruitment-at-modec-ghana-2018.html","title":{"rendered":"Current Recruitment At MODEC Ghana 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MODEC has been providing competitive floating solutions for the offshore oil and gas industry and is recognized as a leading specialist for Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessels, Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) vessels, Floating LNGs (FLNGs), Tension Leg Platforms (TLPs), and Production Semi-submersibles.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Senior Mechanical Engineer (Rotating)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pro-actively search, prepare and deliver\/follow-up upon cost saving initiatives,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Work with the Engineering &amp; MoC Lead to supervise subordinate engineers (Shared Resources) and other staff to provide a good balance of operational and engineering support advising O&amp;M Managers,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage the TEN &amp; KNK (the Facilities) rotating equipment maintenance, repairs and alterations to ensure that an effective and auditable Planned Maintenance system is well planned, implemented, reviewed and improved to reflect a risk based maintenance philosophy, asset management fundamentals and operational experience,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide oversight and manage the applied maintenance management metrics in line with the Operations Team KPI\u2019s and Process Safety initiatives. Ensure Safety Critical maintenance is assigned and executed as per the maintenance plans,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide oversight on the execution of safety critical maintenance executed on the Facilities. Lead and co-ordinate high quality maintenance and integrity management activities for the facilities,<\/li>\n<li>Assure the development and implementation of the maintenance and integrity management systems for the Facilities. To oversee ongoing engineering support to the Facilities Production, Maintenance, and Services\u2019 departments, with regards to planned maintenance and work management,<\/li>\n<li>Provide oversight on the execution of safety critical maintenance executed on the Facilities,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead RCA investigations, in-house and outside contracts. Prepare or review final reports and develop corrective actions,<\/li>\n<li>Lead maintenance improvement, associated cost management and reduction,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Provides mentoring, support and guidance to the Discipline Engineers, Maintenance Superintendent and maintenance personnel, regarding Maintenance and Integrity Management, review and analyses as part of maintenance continuous improvement,<\/li>\n<li>Liaises with all departments and stakeholders to ensure the Maintenance &amp; Integrity Management is well planned and supported, consistent with the Modec &amp; Client business objectives<strong>.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Lead and co-ordinate high quality Maintenance and Integrity management activities for all rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, etc.).Accountable to Maintain an open and high quality offshore operations team delivering high levels of maintenance and cost performance.\n<p>Deliver a structured integrated maintenance &amp; integrity management system.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible to the MGL O&amp;M Managers for all matters relating to the strategic equipment Maintenance &amp; Integrity Management, planning and optimised execution of the assigned maintenance programs.Lead the development and implementation of the maintenance and integrity management system for both Facilities<\/li>\n<li>Lead RCA investigations to determine causes of failures and corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for configuring and producing all Maximo routine performance reporting and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including the data Risk Poynt interface.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for ensuring that the equipment maintenance remains compliant with all the required MODEC, legal, national and international industry standard, engineering procedures and specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Accountable for the routine review and update of all assigned procedures, strategies, plans etc. within the Facilities Safety Management Systems (Standard 14).<\/li>\n<li>Provide oversight to the development of annual maintenance budgets and the associated Opest cost models. Deliver EHS, maintenance and cost targets for the offshore operation.Responsible for managing the maintenance &amp; Integrity budget planning and financial reporting (WBS \/ Opest) for reporting of budget expenditure.<\/li>\n<li>Mentor the planning team in the development of the Integrated Planning process, and the offshore team in the execution of planning to the job\/man day measuring and reporting planning &amp; scheduling effectiveness.Facilitate the development of Maintenance Team, and planning team via mentoring and technical supervision with the Maintenance &amp; Reliability Engineers.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible as part of the Integrity team to conduct regular review of equipment maintenance as part of the maintenance continuous improvement for:\n<ul>\n<li>Assurance Activity Concept (AAC)<\/li>\n<li>Equipment Maintenance Concept (EMC)<\/li>\n<li>Condition Monitoring Concept (CMC)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Identify, propose and manage project (major &amp; minor) scopes as required to support continuous improvement and compliant with the Maintenance &amp; Integrity management requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible as part of the Integrity team for defining, implementing and continuously improving the condition monitoring regimes as part of the adopted predictive maintenance philosophy.<\/li>\n<li>Consults regularly with the Maintenance &amp; Integrity Engineers &amp; O&amp;M planning teams for maintenance &amp; Shutdown scheduling.<\/li>\n<li>Consults regularly with the Maintenance &amp; Integrity Engineers for all matters related to Maintenance &amp; Integrity and reports\/updates on Integrity Management processes, including Safety Critical maintenance execution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Appropriate degree or formal technical qualification preferred. Tertiary education \u2013 engineering preferred but extensive operational experience in similar environments equally valid.<\/li>\n<li>Extensive experience with rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, etc.) with respect to: design, operation, maintenance and repairs.<\/li>\n<li>+ 10 years\u2019 experience in risk based asset integrity related to rotating equipment Maintenance and Integrity , with reliability management (development, review and continuous improvement)<\/li>\n<li>Expert knowledge and understanding of the applicable legislative, national and international standards and requirements for Oil &amp; Gas Facilities<\/li>\n<li>Experienced in Maintenance &amp; Integrity development, materials management, reliability reviews and analysis and project management.<\/li>\n<li>Detailed knowledge of Asset &amp; Integrity Management and standards (ISO55000) and ISO14224 application and implementation.<\/li>\n<li>High level maintenance and operational skills honed in national and international roles.
