Every year 4 billion Jumbo cubes are consumed throughout the African continent.<br \/>\nGino provides a wide range of quality products to African families: tomato paste and mix, seasonings, pasta and rice among other products.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Regional Regulatory and EHS Manager (Food Industry)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Role &amp; Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are looking for a Regional Regulatory and Environment Health and Safety Manager in our countries in Africa.<br \/>\nThen incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the company compliance inthe 3 areas in our 5 factories in Africa. As a part of the key functions:<br \/>\nRegulatory:<br \/>\nUnderstand food regulations and regulatory processes and influence and monitor changes in line with Company policy of current food, packaging, copacked products and other regulations and regulatory processes that could affect technical aspects of our products.<br \/>\nReview and approve product formulations for technical compliance with national regulations and Company policy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>EHS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Subject matter expert for Environment, Health, and Safety requirements in a manufacturing environment as regulated by Government or Industry Standards and\/or ability to grow knowledge working with EHS teams<br \/>\nMaintain EHS standard visual controls in the plant<br \/>\nManagement of the safety operating system for the plant.<br \/>\nInternal assessments of plant compliance to EHS requirements<br \/>\nCoordinate initial investigations and complete reports for safety incidents<br \/>\nWork with operators, plant Supervisors, and other functional departments to train, coordinate EHS activities and participate on problem solving team.
