Job Title: Private Liason Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n

CARE International in Ghana is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of\u00a0Private Sector Liaison Officer<\/strong>\u00a0to support an anticipated four-year USAID-funded Project aimed at Empowering Women and Girls in the Cocoa Supply Chain in Ghana.\u00a0 The objective of the project is to reduce the risk of child labor, forced labor, and other violations of labor rights for vulnerable women and girls within the Cocoa supply chain..<\/p>\n

Two key intended outcomes of the project are:\u00a0 (1) improved economic participation by women and girls vulnerable to child labor, forced labor, and\/or other violations of labor rights within the cocoa supply chain; and (2)\u00a0 \u00a0Improved business practices by private sector actors to protect against child labor, forced labor, and other violations of labor rights for vulnerable women and girls working within the cocoa supply chain..<\/p>\n

Job Summary<\/strong>
\nThe Private Sector officer will be responsible for coordinating implementation of project initiatives\/activities required to achieve the stated outcomes.\u00a0 The successful candidate should possess significant experience in the private sector and labor rights of women and girls in the Cocoa value chain in Ghana. This position is subject to the funding\/award decision of USAID which will be made known by 30th November 2018.<\/p>\n
