{"id":31918,"date":"2018-07-27T12:24:37","date_gmt":"2018-07-27T12:24:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=31918"},"modified":"2018-07-27T12:24:37","modified_gmt":"2018-07-27T12:24:37","slug":"staffing-at-gimpa-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/staffing-at-gimpa-2018.html","title":{"rendered":"Staffing At GIMPA 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Director of Academic Affairs shall apply or enforce approved standardized procedures and regulations for proper and efficient administration of the academic programmes and student certification processes of the Institute.<\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate shall hold office for a term of four (4) years in the first instance and may be reappointed for a further term of up to four (4) years only, subject to satisfactory performance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Director Of Academic Affairs<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Reporting Relationship<\/strong><br \/>\nThe successful candidate shall report to the Secretary of the Institute.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop, review and implement systems to ensure accurate data of students from admission through to graduation.<\/li>\n<li>Provide leadership in planning, co-ordinating and monitoring the academic administration of the Institute which shall include admissions, administration of student<\/li>\n<li>academic records, examinations and academic ceremonies.<\/li>\n<li>Implement decisions of the Academic Board in relation to academic administration, procedures and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Provide a link between the Institute and other tertiary institutions.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all. programmes are appropriately accredited as per the standards of the National Accreditation Board.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain up-to-date student records.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain advisory and consultative relations with all departmental heads.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain cordial and professional relations with external clients\/ potential students and participants.<\/li>\n<li>Protect, conserve and efficiently utilize all assets assigned to the department.<\/li>\n<li>Perform other related duties assigned by Management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Terms Of Appointment<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The successful candidate shall hold office for a term of three (3) years in the first instance and may be re-appointed for further terms of three years each, subject to satisfactory performance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Remuneration For All Positions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Very attractive and competitive<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Remuneration:<\/strong>\u00a0Very attractive and competitive<\/p>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualification<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have a minimum of a Master\u2019s degree in one or a combination of Management;
