{"id":31967,"date":"2018-07-30T13:03:01","date_gmt":"2018-07-30T13:03:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=31967"},"modified":"2018-07-30T13:03:01","modified_gmt":"2018-07-30T13:03:01","slug":"vodafone-ghana-late-july-jobs-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/vodafone-ghana-late-july-jobs-2018.html","title":{"rendered":"Vodafone Ghana Late July Jobs 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In Vodafone Finance, we believe in driving sustainable value by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Generating insights through quality reporting<\/li>\n<li>Enabling sustainable and profitable business growth<\/li>\n<li>Driving efficient utilisation of the company\u2019s resources<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring a robust control environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0FDS Specialist<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The recruiting Manager supports Technology, Fixed Business and Customer Operations.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Technology carries the biggest operating cost and owns a substantial portion of our capital expenditure budget<\/li>\n<li>Fixed Business drives our fixed broadband strategy<\/li>\n<li>Customer Operations drives Customer Experience agenda, manages our customer touchpoints and handles back office activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The role is required to drive the strategic and operational agenda, ensuring that the team meets its objectives in an effective and efficient manner.<\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Drive the financial evaluation of capex projects and presenting management with appropriate recommendations for investment decision making<\/li>\n<li>Prepare post implementation reviews on relevant technology projects executed by the business<\/li>\n<li>Manage opex reporting and ensuring appropriate cost centre reports are prepared and sent to the relevant cost centre owners with clear actions to drive efficiency<\/li>\n<li>Drive the preparation of capex and opex budgets for all budgeting cycles, and monitoring actual against planned spends thereby producing relevant variance reports for management decisions<\/li>\n<li>Supporting and partner the technology, fixed business and customer operations in all finance matters<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Key performance indicators<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Delivery of value adding reports to drive decision-making<\/li>\n<li>Dedication and ownership of tasks assigned<\/li>\n<li>Ability to proactively innovate and simplify processes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Knowledge, Skills and Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of accounting issues with emphasis on Fixed Assets, Accrual Accounting and Operating Cost<\/li>\n<li>At least three years working experience<\/li>\n<li>A finance background from within the telecoms industry would a distinct advantage due to technical complexity of the environment<\/li>\n<li>A demonstrable tract record of building commercially oriented business cases, again ideally in a telecoms environment<\/li>\n<li>Planning and forecasting experience a distinct advantage<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work on adhoc projects at short notice and tough time schedules<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Leadership and teamwork<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be able to work effortlessly within the team and across the business to drive discussions on business performance<\/li>\n<li>Must show initiative and anticipate the needs of the team and work proactively to deliver the necessary support<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Innovation and change<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have a natural inclination for seeking out new ideas and opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Should exhibit creativity in approaching everyday challenges in the workplace<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Drive<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be able to plough through challenges and see all tasks to their final conclusion<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated, driven and committed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Technical Competence<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have strong analytical, conceptual and problem solving abilities<\/li>\n<li>Must love numbers<\/li>\n<li>Must possess excellent attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Communication<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be able to communicate confidently both orally and in writing.
