{"id":32035,"date":"2018-08-01T07:46:23","date_gmt":"2018-08-01T07:46:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=32035"},"modified":"2018-08-01T07:46:23","modified_gmt":"2018-08-01T07:46:23","slug":"springforth-international-school-jobs-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/springforth-international-school-jobs-2018.html","title":{"rendered":"Springforth International School Jobs 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Springforth Community School is seeking dynamic, energetic, creative primary school teachers who can lead and teach Grades 4, 5, and 6 to a multi-cultural group of children.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Primary School Teacher \u2013 Class 4, 5, And 6<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Purpose of Job<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To deliver the\u00a0 British national curriculum of the class assigned &amp; teach children on key subjects of Math, Language Arts(Reading, Writing), Science, Social Studies,\u00a0 Bible.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a positive, loving environment in the classroom that motivates children to learn and to love school.<\/li>\n<li>Impart Christian values and moral education to children and promote good behavior and discipline in the classroom.<\/li>\n<li>To impart to children an appreciation and respect for diversity in the world.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Main Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare and deliver lesson plans and\u00a0 fun activities<\/li>\n<li>Identify, develop, and use educational materials and resources in creative ways that accelerate learning on core subjects.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate regularly with parents and maintain and enhance an effective partnership with parents<\/li>\n<li>Monitor children\u2019s progress and educational attainment<\/li>\n<li>Prepare homework for the children and mark\/grade their work.<\/li>\n<li>Supervise children whether individually or in groups, to ensure their health and safety on or outside the school premises.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and administer test to assess children\u2019s learning.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare mid-term and end of year progress reports.<\/li>\n<li>Work together with team of teachers to achieve learning objectives of the school.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings, Staff Meetings etc.<\/li>\n<li>Support and encourage pupils and staff in a wide range of extra curricular activities and study support<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge and experience in British National Curriculum<\/li>\n<li>At least 5 years primary school teaching experience<\/li>\n<li>Christian<\/li>\n<li>English Language<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education and\/ or Teacher\u2019s Certificate or Diploma<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"how-to-apply\"><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Qualified candidates should send their applications to\u00a0<strong><u><a href=\"mailto:springforthgh@yahoo.com\">springforthgh@yahoo.com<\/a><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Springforth Community School is seeking dynamic, energetic, creative primary school teachers who can lead and teach Grades 4, 5, and 6 to a multi-cultural group of children.
