\n\u2022 Drafting recommendations in controls and procedures as well as take responsibility for overseeing the implementation thereof
\n\u2022 Ensuring systems exist for the generation of accurate and reliable financial and management information
\n\u2022 Evaluating financial performance and profitability across all departments
\n\u2022 Reporting findings directly to the Business Owner and statutory auditors on various aspects of financial management, including asset management and security, financial reporting and management reporting systems
\n\u2022 Undertaking ad-hoc projects as required
\n\u2022 Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations
\n\u2022 Determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans
\n\u2022 Obtain, analyse and evaluate according documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts etc
\n\u2022 Prepare and present reports that reflect audit\u2019s results and document process
\n\u2022 Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement
\n\u2022 Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings
\n\u2022 Maintain open communication with management and audit committee
\n\u2022 Document, process and prepare audit findings memorandum
\n\u2022 Conduct follow up audits to monitor management\u2019s intervention
\n\u2022 Engage relevant staff for purposes of continuous knowledge development regarding sector\u2019s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards
\n\u2022 Determine compliance with policies and procedures
\n\u2022 Verbally communicate findings to senior management and draft comprehensive and complete report of audit area<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 5 to 7 years work experience in public accounting\/auditing and\/or industry
\n\u2022 Experience of working in the hospitality and tourism industry (Essential)
\n\u2022 Member of the institute of internal auditors or British association of hospitality accountants (desirable)
\n\u2022 Working knowledge of software and systems commonly used within the hospitality and tourism industry (desirable)
\n\u2022 Systems knowledge and familiarity
\n\u2022 Proven working experience as a Senior Auditor<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Ability to adapt to change quickly and multi-task
\n\u2022 Candidates must be able to work independently and accurately (Essential)
\n\u2022 Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
\n\u2022 Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports
\n\u2022 Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations
\n\u2022 High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills exceptional communication, negotiation and presentation skills
\n\u2022 Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with executives, managers & employees
\n\u2022 The successful candidate must have all-round acccounting experience combined with good IT skills including (Essential)
