Ignitia has a small team of dedicated scientists, developers and meteorologists that now wish to expand with expertise in mobile VAS development tasks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Ignitia AB has a vacancy for a full-time Mobile VAS Developer to work with both the technical team and with the mobile marketing manager.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Mobile VAS Developer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Duties Will Include<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Service-oriented architecture software development<\/li>\n<li>Development and maintenance of Ignitia\u2019s VAS platform<\/li>\n<li>Integration of several new mobile network operators\u2019 systems<\/li>\n<li>Database management and development<\/li>\n<li>Develop, maintain and modify various APIs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other Duties May Include (commensurate With Any Relevant Experience)<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Front-end web development (HTML, CSS, Javascript)<\/li>\n<li>Unix system administration tasks on colocation and cloud virtual machines, such as server deployment and security, and network management (VPN)<\/li>\n<li>USSD development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>In addition to having a university degree (at BSc or MSc level), we expect you to have experience and skills in:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Service-oriented architecture software development (SOAP, REST, messaging)<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Java, Python, SQL<\/li>\n<li>Experience with the SMPP protocol<\/li>\n<li>Unix environment and shell scripting<\/li>\n<li>Experience of PHP, Kannel, XML, JSON<\/li>\n<li>Database modelling and management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Beneficial Skills Include Experience Of<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perl<\/li>\n<li>System administration, server security, software deployment and network management<\/li>\n<li>Amazon Cloud<\/li>\n<li>Front-end web development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>In Addition You Should<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work efficiently both independently and in our technical team<\/li>\n<li>Maintain focus under rapidly changing work tasks and time pressure<\/li>\n<li>Have a positive attitude<\/li>\n<li>Have good written and communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>About Ignitia<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The company Ignitia is an entrepreneur led business that offers critical decision support in West Africa.
