{"id":32217,"date":"2018-08-09T11:59:49","date_gmt":"2018-08-09T11:59:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=32217"},"modified":"2018-08-09T11:59:49","modified_gmt":"2018-08-09T11:59:49","slug":"rt-maritime-job-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/rt-maritime-job-2018.html","title":{"rendered":"RT Maritime Job 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Commercial Manager responsibilities are to develop client -wide marketing plans and ensure employment of the vessels<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Commercial Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Experience: minimum 3 years\u2019 experience in ship brokerage and\/or commercial manager<\/p>\n<p>Education: Bachelor degree- MBA is an added advantage<\/p>\n<p>Industry Type: Oil and Gas\/ Marine \/ Offshore Shipping Services<\/p>\n<p>Location\/ Ghanaian: Ghana \/Nationality Ghanaian<\/p>\n<p><strong>General Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Securing new chartering contracts for our vessels.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain continuous contact with charterers and brokers for employment of the spot as well as term fixtures.<\/li>\n<li>Interaction with clients on regular basis to understand their current and future requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Market tapping, gauging market potential and Market predictions<\/li>\n<li>Strategically identify and cater to the shipping requirements by ensure optimal utilization for fleet portfolio within the offshore segment.<\/li>\n<li>Suggest and develop synergies\/partnerships with other companies.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare a country analysis report, should we be targeting a new territory by the way of primary and in person secondary research.<\/li>\n<li>Understand and study the tender documents received from charterers. \u27a2 Prepare tenders in coordination with other departments \u27a2 Raise commercial\/contractual exception to tender document.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that original Charter Parties made up by brokers\/charterers are in compliance with the terms and conditions agreed during negotiations<\/li>\n<li>Follow up of fixtures<\/li>\n<li>Make suggestions for chartering of foreign tonnage when opportunities\/needs arise.<\/li>\n<li>See to that vessels are run most economically with a view to the charter party\u2019s stipulations and expected market situations.<\/li>\n<li>Control vessels\u2019 performance and ensure it meets expectation and contractual obligations.
